About Ruben
My name is Ruben Grobler. I'm currently a 3rd year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Pretoria. I have a passion for all things knowledge related and I enjoy learning, regardless of the subject matter. The reason I'm tutoring is because I often see bad teachers ruin enjoyable content for students and I am to change this by showing students that everything can become enjoyable if your approach is correct.

I aim to create a relaxed learning environment where students can question concepts and learn without the pressures of conventional schooling. I aim to create an understanding between myself and the student to have them learn in a manner that works for them. I can teach in both English and Afrikaans and I specialize in high school level tutoring but I am able to work outside of this learning level if required. I understand all too well how boring and unenjoyable school can be and this environment makes learning feel tedious and like a chore. That is why my goal with every session is to create a fun environment where we can not only cultivate an understanding of the subject matter but also cultivate enjoyment of the subject matter.
