About Ana

I am close to finishing my degree in mechanical engineering. Whenever I mention this to people they reply with "you must be good at math!" Humbly, I believe I am good at math because I've loved it from a very young age. I chose my major when I took honors physics my junior year in high school and that's when fell in love with physics. These two subjects have been my passion for many years. Something I've learned through years of studying these subjects is that everyone is at different levels of learning and understanding. I have a little sister who is 5 years younger than me and whom I've been tutoring in math for as long as I can remember. I know math and physics aren't everyone's passion they way they are for me, but I believe everyone can benefit from learning about the fundamentals of science.

About the lesson

A typical lesson plan with me would mean an online remote session personalized to the student. We'd start by going over any material that may be causing confusion or concepts that need further practice. Please bring me any assignments you're having trouble completing. We can also create study guides for upcoming exams and finals. Contact me ahead of time so I can look into additional practice problems that may help us further your understanding of the subject. I believe physics and math are best learned by practice and hands on learning.
