About Alexander
I’m a Mechanical Engineering student at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, and I’ve always enjoyed math and science. I’ve taught swim lessons for about two years, which gave me a lot of experience working with different learning styles and staying patient under pressure. I like helping people understand tough ideas and watching things finally click for them. I take school seriously, I show up prepared, and I work hard to make sure the people I tutor feel supported and confident.

I teach math by breaking concepts down into simple, clear steps so students actually understand the ‘why,’ not just the formula. I’m patient, direct, and I adjust my pace to whatever the student needs. When someone is stuck, I focus on finding the part that isn’t clicking and rebuild the idea so it finally makes sense. My goal is to make math feel manageable, not stressful, and to give students the confidence to handle problems on their own.
