About Ajay
Hi! I'm Ajay, a Mechanical Engineering student at Queen's University with a strong background in math and science, born and raised in Nova Scotia before going to school in Ontario. I've got a little over a year tutoring experience, and before that many years of helping friends. I'm reliable, easy to talk to, and genuinely care about helping students succeed. Whether you're preparing for a test, struggling with homework, or just want to feel more confident in class, I'll meet you where you're at and help you build from there. I truly enjoy helping others gather a better understanding, and hope I can do the same for you.

As a Mechanical Engineering student at Queen’s University, I offer math and physics tutoring for high school and junior high students. I focus on helping you truly understand the concepts, not just memorize steps — so you can feel more confident in class and on tests.
My lessons are flexible and tailored to your needs. If you send me your homework or questions ahead of time, I’ll review them before our session so we can dive right into what’s giving you trouble. This saves time and makes our lessons way more focused and helpful.
A typical session includes going over your questions, explaining key ideas in a way that makes sense, and working through practice problems together. I make sure you’re following along and never rush through anything.
I know what it’s like to be overwhelmed by math or science — I’ve been there. My goal is to make things simpler and help you get better results with less stress.
