About Zaynab
Hello! My name is Zaynab, and I'm a Mechanical Engineering student with a passion for helping students build confidence and succeed in STEM. Throughout my academic journey, I've developed a strong foundation in mathematics, science, and programming, and I've had the opportunity to apply these skills through undergraduate engineering research focused on robotics and advanced manufacturing.
I understand that every student learns differently, and I strive to create a supportive, patient, adaptable, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to help them develop the confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills they can use long after our sessions.
Whether you're preparing for an exam, working through difficult homework, learning to code, or strengthening your understanding of math or science, I'm committed to helping you achieve your goals. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to the individual's goals, learning style, and pace. My teaching focuses on building a strong foundation and developing a deep understanding of concepts rather than simply memorizing procedures. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and develop confidence in solving problems independently.
A typical lesson begins with reviewing any questions or topics the student finds challenging. I then explain concepts using clear, step-by-step examples before working through practice problems together. As students become more comfortable, I gradually encourage them to solve problems on their own while providing guidance and feedback. At the end of each session, we review key takeaways and discuss strategies for continued improvement.
As a Mechanical Engineering student with experience in mathematics, programming, robotics, and scientific research, I bring real-world applications into my lessons whenever possible. I enjoy showing students how the concepts they learn in class are used in engineering, technology, and everyday life, making learning more engaging and meaningful.
I offer tutoring for elementary, middle school, high school, and introductory college students in mathematics, science, coding, and engineering fundamentals. I also provide homework help, exam preparation, study strategies, and support for students who simply want to strengthen their understanding and build confidence in STEM subjects.
