About Ollie

Hiya. I am a Mechanical Engineering Master's student at Sheffield University. I used to help tutor students at school in younger years and I genuinely loved it. It allowed me to try and help students love a subject I simply adore and find interesting. I try to have high-energy, fun lessons to get students excited about stereotypical 'boring' topics. I want to help students get that feeling of getting the grade they've been longing for.

About the lesson

A normal lesson would consist of going through past papers/questions when closer to tests/exams, however, if a student expresses they feel less confident on a subject I will easily change the lesson to that topic alone. Depending on workload, I would like to set a few questions to do for the next session, to then run through; but I understand how some students wouldn't benefit from this style. The session would be 1 hour long twice a week but can adapt for less or more time if wanted. During 6th form I attended tutoring classes for GCSE students at my school, therefore allowing me to learn how to teach all GCSE topics for a variety of learning styles
