About Adam
Throughout my degree, I spent a lot of time applying complex concepts in real-world scenarios, from solving equations in thermodynamics to analysing forces in mechanical systems. But what I enjoyed most was explaining those concepts to others — making them simpler and more intuitive, whether that was helping friends with revision or breaking things down during group projects. Outside of academics, I’m easygoing, patient, and genuinely enjoy helping people grow in confidence with subjects they might have found difficult in school. I know that sometimes all it takes is a different explanation — or just someone who listens and supports — to make a real difference. I offer lessons that are friendly, pressure-free, and tailored to your pace. Whether you’re aiming to pass a GCSE, push for an A at A-Level, or just get your head around a tough topic, I’m here to help.

Hi, I’m Adam, and I’ve recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering (2:1) from Northumbria University. Over the past four years, I’ve built a strong foundation in maths and physics, applying them daily in areas like mechanics, thermodynamics, structural analysis, and problem-solving. I’m passionate about helping others understand these subjects in a clear, down-to-earth way — especially if they’re struggling or feel overwhelmed. I’ve supported classmates throughout my degree and really enjoy breaking tricky concepts down into manageable, practical steps. Whether you're working towards your GCSEs, A-Levels, or just looking to build confidence, I’m here to help. Subjects I teach: Mathematics (up to A-Level) Physics (up to A-Level) Engineering Maths or Mechanics (on request) Lessons can be online or in-person (depending on location), and I’m happy to tailor sessions to your learning style and pace.
