About Tomiwa
I didn't quite a lot of time helping other students with maths through school and university. Over the years, helping my friends with homework and exam prep made me realise that everyone doesn't absorb information in the same way. I became more aware of this when I tutored maths for year 9 students at my school, as part of my D of E volunteering. I also started to realise that when I spent some individual time trying to figure out an explanation they understood, that most of them walked away happier and were able to attempt more of their homework questions.

I think everyone is capable of understanding most of mathematics, up to GCSE & A-level. I was lucky to have teachers who understood that sometimes a visual aid or an alternative explanation of a concept could drastically affect a pupil's understanding. My goal is to find ways to make maths fit with your learning style to help you achieve the best results you can.
