About Mackenzie
I have recently graduated from the University of Southampton with a 2:1 in BEng Mechanical Engineering and am set to begin a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Leeds this upcoming fall. My undergraduate degree was entirely revolved around maths and physics principles, so I have extensive graduate-level knowledge within both subjects.
I've tutored in the past, love working with children / young adults and have a flexible schedule to cater to the needs of all students and parents.

I am available to give both mathematics and physics lessons to pupils of any age, up to and including those taking GCSEs and A-levels.
My lessons are based on setting small milestones in order to achieve a stress-free, seamless progression of understanding within a topic while simultaneously raising the student's confidence. I will begin by assessing the student's strengths and shortcomings within the subject, and then develop a personalized plan which aims to both strengthen fundamental principles, further develop more advanced concepts and tackle any shortcomings the student faces. I understand that each individual learns in a different way, so I plan to use different learning approaches to tackle subjects the student finds most difficult.
I believe the key to successful learning is working in a positive, fun, stress-free environment. I am naturally an easy-going, positive and patient person who loves being around and working with both children and young adults. I aim to keep the lessons fun, engaging and positive for the student so they feel motivated and confident.
