About Partha
Master of Engineering & 3x GATE Qualifier | Expert Tutoring in Mechanical Engineering, Competitive Exams, & Foundation Mathematics
Hi, I am Partha (pronounced Partho), a dedicated educator and engineering professional with a deep-rooted passion for making complex concepts accessible.
My academic journey is anchored by a Master of Engineering (M.E.) in Automobile Engineering and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. Having successfully cleared the highly competitive GATE exam three times (in 2009, 2012, and 2013), I possess a firsthand, strategic understanding of what it takes to excel in high-stakes academic environments.
My professional experience is both rigorous and diverse. I have worked within a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) and currently serve as a freelance Subject Matter Expert, where I actively solve complex, university-level Mechanical Engineering problems on a daily basis. Furthermore, I manage educational platform—GyaanCore, dedicated to core mechanical concepts for a global audience.
Whether you are an engineering undergraduate struggling with Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics, an aspirant looking to crack competitive exams with a top rank, or a school student (Classes 6–10) needing a rock-solid foundation in Mathematics, you are in expert hands.
I pride myself on my professionalism, patience, and structured approach to teaching. I don't just teach the syllabus; I equip my students with the analytical thinking and problem-solving strategies required to succeed independently. I look forward to working with you to unlock your full academic potential!

My teaching philosophy revolves around building a rock-solid foundation of core concepts rather than relying on rote memorization. Engineering and mathematics can seem daunting, but I specialize in breaking down complex, high-level theories into digestible, real-world applications. I use a highly interactive, problem-solving approach. We will tackle problems step-by-step, discussing the "why" behind every formula and theorem. I also incorporate visual aids and practical examples—skills I've honed by creating educational content for a global audience—to ensure the material truly clicks.
Warm-up (10 mins): A quick review of the previous session's concepts and addressing any lingering doubts or homework roadblocks.
Concept Introduction (20 mins): Diving into the new topic using relatable examples, focusing heavily on the underlying principles (e.g., the physical meaning behind a thermodynamic cycle or a mathematical theorem).
Guided Problem Solving (20 mins): Working through 2-3 standard problems together. I will model the strategic approach to solving them, emphasizing the fastest and most accurate methods.
Independent Practice & Wrap-up (10 mins): You will tackle a problem on your own to test your understanding, followed by a summary of key takeaways and a brief outline of our next session.
I bring a blend of strong academic credentials and practical, competitive problem-solving experience. With a Master's in Automobile Engineering and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, my subject matter expertise is deep. Having cleared the GATE exam three times, I know exactly what it takes to crack highly competitive exams. Furthermore, my ongoing work as a Subject Matter Expert means I am constantly solving diverse, complex academic problems daily. I don't just teach the syllabus; I teach exam strategy, time management, and the exact methodologies needed to secure top ranks.
I offer specialized tutoring for a range of students:
Mechanical Engineering Students (Diploma/B.Tech): Covering core subjects like Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Machine Design, and Heat Transfer.
Competitive Exam Aspirants: Targeted preparation, strategic problem-solving, and concept clearing.
School Students (Classes 6 to 10): Building a flawless foundation in Mathematics to prepare students for future STEM endeavors.
