About Muhammad

I’m Muhammad Alamgir, a Mechanical Engineering tutor with 7 years of experience. I teach undergraduate students in Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, and Machine Design. About the lesson

My lessons are designed for undergraduate Mechanical Engineering students who want to improve both exam performance and assignment results in Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, and Machine Design. I teach in English and focus on clear understanding + strong problem-solving methods, so you can solve questions confidently on your own.

Lesson format (90 minutes)

10 min: quick diagnostic (your goal, weak areas, topic check)

25–30 min: concept explanation (the “why”, key formulas, assumptions, common mistakes)

40–45 min: guided problem solving (exam-style questions + your course problems)

5–10 min: recap + targeted practice questions for the next session

Topics covered

Thermodynamics: 1st/2nd law, closed & open systems, entropy, cycles (Otto/Diesel/Rankine), property tables

Heat Transfer: conduction, convection, radiation, fins, heat exchangers (LMTD/NTU), basics of transient heat transfer

Machine Design: stress & failure theories, fatigue, shafts, keys, gears, bearings, bolts, springs, factor of safety
