About Hareem
Need Help With Math? 🧮 Hi, I’m Hareem! I’m a Software Engineering student at McMaster University with a strong background in math and problem-solving. My program requires advanced math skills—algebra, calculus, logic, and more—so I know firsthand how important it is to build a solid foundation early. I tutor Math up to the high school level, and I specialize in: Breaking down complex concepts into simple, step-by-step explanations Helping students strengthen problem-solving strategies and avoid common mistakes Building confidence in math, whether it’s homework support, test prep, or long-term skill growth With my experience in a math-intensive university program, I understand not just how to do the math, but how to explain it clearly in a way that makes sense to students. Math doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. In my lessons, I focus on making concepts clear, manageable, and connected to real problem-solving skills.
Each session is designed to:
Strengthen Foundations → We’ll revisit key skills so new topics feel easier and less intimidating.
Step-by-Step Explanations → I break problems into simple steps so students truly understand, not just memorize.
Practice with Purpose → We’ll work through examples together, then apply strategies to independent practice.
Build Confidence → My goal is for every student to leave each session feeling more capable and ready to tackle challenges.
Whether it’s preparing for a test, catching up on missed concepts, or aiming to excel in class, my lessons adapt to the student’s pace and learning style

Hareem helped me so much with grade 11 functions. She really knows how to break down problems and work with you to get through them.
