About Veronica
I am currently a first-year general engineering student with passions that stem across physics, chemistry, mathematics, and circuitry. Throughout high school, I loved devoting my time to academics in order to pursue a STEM degree and also helped other students achieve the same by being a peer tutor for grade 9 to 11 mathematics. I love extending my knowledge in the STEM world and hope to inspire other students to enjoy pursuing education.

As a tutor, my goal is to make math clear, engaging, and more enjoyable for grade 9 and 10 high school students. I like focusing on the fundamentals in order to create a strong foundation to develop problem-solving skills for more difficult concepts. In terms of teaching techniques, I want to ensure my students understand the "why" behind what I am helping in. I also like to focus on a very personalized learning strategy as I know each student has different strengths and weaknesses. I can help students with reviewing and teaching concepts they find difficult as well as aiding in helping students prepare for tests, quizzes, and assignments. I have always been a math enthusiast and would love to make my students' math experience more enjoyable!
