About Dr Revan

Hello there! I'm Dr Revan, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) local graduate who enjoys teaching and uses clear, simple explanations to make medicine easier to understand. Having gone through the rigours of medical school myself, I understand the challenges students face and am here to offer personalised support.

Throughout medical school, I consistently performed well, earning Distinctions as well as being on the Dean's list. With over 3 years of experience in tutoring medical students, both preclinical and clinical, I have managed to refine my approach towards helping others. My personal belief is that once you get the hang of medicine, nothing will ever be too hard for you! Through my deep understanding of the curriculum, I aim to help you not only pass but excel in your medical studies and graduate as a competent doctor!

About the lesson

My tutoring sessions are designed:
- To be 1-on-1, online, regular 2-hour lessons.
- To cover key subjects including Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, and Clinical Skills (may also be system-based as per your preference).
- Mainly according to YOUR needs (be it exam prep, specific topics, difficulty understanding, etc.).
- To offer the art of efficient history-taking and other relevant preparation for your OSCEs.

I use a variety of teaching methods that have proven to be effective with others in the past, from case discussions to interactive Q&A, to ensure a thorough grasp of medical knowledge. In addition, you will also receive notes/slides for each lesson as reference!

Perfect! Dr.Revan is an outstanding tutor who has greatly supported me in my Year 4 Medicine studies. His depth of knowledge and clear explanations make even the most complex medical topics much easier to understand. He takes time to break down difficult concepts, relate them to clinical scenarios, and highlight what is most important for exams as well as for future practice.

What I value most is his patient and approachable nature. He never hesitates to re-explain something if I am unsure, and he always encourages me to think logically through clinical cases rather than just memorising facts. His teaching style builds both knowledge and confidence, which is essential at this stage of medical training.

Dr. Revan also emphasizes practical application, linking theory to real-life clinical practice. This has helped me develop a deeper appreciation of medicine and improved my ability to answer case-based and OSCE-style questions.
