About Sarah
My name is Sarah Redmon, and I am currently an MBA student with a bachelor's degree in Information Communication Technology and a minor in Computer Science. I have been tutoring at Bluegrass Community and Technical College in Lexington, Kentucky, since 2024, and I have enjoyed working with students who come in seeking help for their coursework.
I strongly believe that needing tutoring is nothing to feel ashamed of; being willing to receive help and ask questions takes a lot of responsibility and confidence, which is a valuable life skill. It shows that you are committed to learning, and that is a sign of success!

When I meet with you, I listen to what you really need from me. However, I cannot directly give you the answer. I can show the steps to get to the answer through similar examples, however you must get the answer yourself from the actual problem. This is so that you can feel better about being able to solve the problem yourself without me directly giving you answers.
The typical lesson plan is that when you come to me for lessons, I allow you to do most of the talking and I do the listening. You show me what you are really stuck on, and I formulate a plan on helping you through these issues. I work through the problem one step at a time, making sure that you fully understand everything. If you have any remaining questions, we work through those too! As long as you have a good attitude, you can get a lot out of my lessons!
What sets me apart as a tutor is that I make the session personable to you. We really get to know each other when we work with each other. We can help each other with gaining more knowledge about the discussed subject. In the process, we have fun educating ourselves, and it makes things easier and less stressful!
I can help any grade level, and I specialize in algebra, precalculus, and physics.
