Hi! I’m Gulnoor, an MBA student at McMaster University who teaches Math and English to middle and high school students in Hamilton. My teaching approach is rooted in patience, conceptual clarity, and structured learning. I focus on helping students truly understand the “why” behind both mathematical and language concepts, rather than relying on rote memorization. Each lesson is conducted at a comfortable pace, ensuring that no student feels rushed. I emphasize attention to detail, step-by-step problem solving, and practical examples that make abstract ideas easier to grasp — whether it’s solving equations or strengthening grammar and writing skills. To build confidence, I encourage students to explain their reasoning and thought process aloud, helping them develop both analytical and communication skills. I also integrate short quizzes, reading exercises, and interactive activities to track progress, reinforce understanding, and make learning engaging across both subjects.
