About Akanksha
I’m a corporate finance and strategy professional and alongside my work in M&A and fundraising teaching has always been something I’ve naturally gravitated towards. During university, I often found myself helping friends with financial modeling and over time that extended into mentoring students through B-school applications and early career decisions.
I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy breaking down concepts and seeing that “click” moment when things start to make sense. Finance can feel intimidating at first and I like making it more approachable, practical and even enjoyable by using real-world examples.
I’m also quite passionate about encouraging more women to get into finance and creating a space where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence.

My teaching approach is practical, structured, and interactive. I focus on simplifying core concepts and reinforcing them through real-world examples, so students understand how finance works in practice, not just in theory.
I typically combine concept walkthroughs with applied exercises and discussions. A standard lesson is 60–90 minutes.
I have experience mentoring peers during university, training aspiring investment bankers, and guiding students through B-school applications.
