About Arti
I’m an MBA candidate at Seton Hall University with a background in Political Science (Pre-Law) and Business, and I love working with people just as much as I love problem-solving. I’ve been a Peer Educator, a manager, and a marketing associate, so I’m equally comfortable leading a team, explaining complex ideas, or helping someone feel heard and supported. I’m fluent in four languages—Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, and English—which means I’m always switching between cultures and communication styles. Fun facts: I’ve earned awards through Model United Nations for representing countries in debate, I genuinely enjoy organizing and planning (yes, spreadsheets included), and I believe learning should be challenging but never intimidating. I bring empathy, curiosity, and a positive attitude into everything I do

My approach to tutoring is student-centered, supportive, and practical, shaped by my experience as a Peer Educator at Stockton University’s Wellness Center and my academic background in Political Science, Business, and MBA-level coursework. I focus on active listening, empathy, and clear communication to understand each student’s learning style before guiding them step by step through concepts. Rather than simply providing answers, I encourage critical thinking and confidence by breaking complex ideas into manageable parts, using real-world examples, and reinforcing learning through discussion and practice. I aim to create a welcoming, non-judgmental environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and engaging with challenging material, while adapting my explanations based on feedback to ensure clarity and understanding.
