About Rosalind
I’m a second-year Philosophy, Politics & Economics student at Lancaster University. Maths has always been a subject I’ve genuinely enjoyed, and I’ve been lucky to have teachers along the way who made it click for me — I want to be that person for someone else.
I decided to start tutoring because I remember exactly what it feels like to stare at a maths problem and feel completely stuck, and how much difference it makes having someone patient explain it in a way that actually makes sense. I want to take away the stress around maths and show that it can genuinely be enjoyable once it starts to click.

Hi! I’m Rosie, and I’ll be your maths tutor. I know maths can feel overwhelming sometimes, especially with exams looming — but I promise it doesn’t have to be boring or stressful!
My lessons are all about building your confidence at a pace that works for you. No question is a silly question, and if something’s not clicking, we’ll find another way to explain it until it does. I’ll bring past papers, practice problems, and the occasional bad joke to keep things enjoyable rather than dreaded.
Whether you’re aiming for top grades or just want maths to feel less scary, I’m here to help — patiently, honestly, and with as much encouragement as I can offer
