About Weronika

I am a 2022 year BSc, Psychology Graduate from University of Bristol, with now 8 years of experience in Tutoring. I work for two companies within Bristol, but as I understand tutoring costs through these can be high, am also looking to take on students on a private basis.

Since graduation and even during, I have worked with youth, vulnerable adults and even young children to encourage and promote accessing suitable education and play on their natural abilities to give them a boost in applying their knowledge with confidence.

I have confidence in my skills of communicating and facing any problem's that arrise efficiently, assisting a variety of students in a person centred manner. Each session is catered to the students learning style and can be done at the pace that the student requires.

About the lesson

With each student, I will initially start with a free session. This will be used to identify topics of weakness, future goals and what you hope to achieve from the session. To aid this, I am happy to correspond with teachers, guardians or course leaders to get an idea of what would best benefit you to focus on.

Each session from then on will be planned in advance to focus on the identified topics, or if preferred, such as if you are home schooling or studying the topic for the first time, can follow the curriculum for the exam board. As these sessions tend to be 1:1, there is no pressure to rush through a topic. Session lengths and plans can be adjusted to allow for you as the student to gain the most out of the subject as you can.

Material used will feature PowerPoints, worksheets and exam questions, making use of technology to aid the lesson as necessary. I am happy to provide any materials needed and have the ability to explain techniques and theories in a patient and calm manner.

Lessons can be done wherever you feel most comfortable with. That can be online, at your home, my home or even a cafe or library. If you would like assistance with class work or homework this can also be provided, as well as UCAS references and exam marking.
