About Poppy
I have taught in a top secondary school for many years, specialising in KS3, GCSE and A Level, particularly A Level statistics. I have also taught Level 3 Mathematical Studies for a number of years. Over the years I have worked with students of many different abilities and am able to engage all kinds of learners.

Having taught in a secondary school as a Maths teacher for many years I have experience in teaching a variety of abilities from KS3 to A level. I am passionate about teaching Mathematics and want to share my passion with students. My aim is to not only help students progress in the subject and achieve the grade they are aiming for but to boost their confidence and help them enjoy Maths! I create a friendly and supportive environment in which students want to learn and progress. I offer individualised support for students with a wide variety of teaching techniques to support the student's needs. I like to use a lot of examples of mathematics in real life and go through problem solving techniques. I alway ensure that I keep the parents up to date of their child's progress.
