About Tanishi

I’m Tanishi, a Math tutor based in Indore, India, with an academic background that combines technical education with an MBA in Digital Business from IIIT Lucknow.
My academic journey has strengthened my analytical thinking, problem-solving, and ability to break down complex ideas into structured, understandable steps. I bring this same approach to teaching Mathematics.
I believe a good tutor should create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and taking the time they need to understand a concept. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to adapting my lessons to each student’s learning pace and goals.
My own experience with Math also shapes the way I teach. I was once afraid of Math myself, but learning to understand the logic behind problems changed my perspective completely. Today, I want to help students experience that same shift from confusion and hesitation to understanding and confidence.
Whether you need support with school Math, homework, exam preparation, or strengthening your fundamentals, I aim to make every lesson clear, structured, and useful.

About the lesson

I believe that every student can learn Math when the concept is explained in a way that makes sense to them. My approach is focused on understanding rather than memorization, with the aim of making Math simpler, less intimidating, and more enjoyable.
I start each class by understanding the student’s current level, learning goals, and areas of difficulty. I then explain the topic using simple language and step-by-step examples before moving to practice questions. Rather than giving students the solution immediately, I encourage them to think through the problem and guide them with hints and questions when they get stuck.
A typical class includes:
• A quick review of previous concepts
• Introduction and explanation of the new topic
• Worked examples and guided problem-solving
• Independent practice with personalized feedback
• A short recap and clarification of doubts
One thing that makes my teaching approach different is that I understand what it feels like to struggle with Math I was scared of it myself at one point. This helps me teach with patience and without making students feel uncomfortable about asking questions or making mistakes.
My classes are intended primarily for school students who want to strengthen their fundamentals, improve their problem-solving skills, prepare for exams, complete homework, or simply become more confident in Math. I can adapt the pace and difficulty of lessons according to each student's individual needs.
My goal is simple: I don’t just want students to get the correct answer I want them to understand why the answer is correct and feel confident solving the next problem on their own.
