About Urvi
My interest in mathematics started when I realized how logical thinking could solve complex problems step by step. This curiosity motivated me to study mathematics at the university level, where I completed a Master’s degree in Mathematics. Over the past 9 years, I have worked with students from different learning backgrounds and helped them develop stronger problem-solving abilities.
I believe that mathematics education should focus on understanding rather than memorization. Many students feel anxious when they encounter difficult calculations or unfamiliar formulas. My teaching approach focuses on patience, clear explanation, and gradual progression through each concept. By helping students understand the reasoning behind solutions, I support them in building long-term confidence in mathematics.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring mathematical puzzles and reading about how mathematics is applied in technology and science. Continuing to learn allows me to bring fresh examples into my lessons and keep students engaged. Watching learners grow from uncertainty to confidence is one of the most rewarding aspects of teaching mathematics.

Mathematics becomes easier when students understand the logic behind each concept rather than memorizing formulas without context. My lessons focus on helping learners develop clear reasoning and confidence while solving mathematical problems. We begin by reviewing fundamental topics such as numbers, algebraic expressions, and equations. Each concept is explained carefully so students can understand how mathematical ideas connect with one another.
During lessons, I guide students through step-by-step problem solving to show how different methods work. Topics may include algebra, geometry, ratios, and basic statistics depending on the learner’s level. Practice exercises are carefully selected to strengthen understanding and accuracy. I encourage students to explain their thinking during problem solving because this helps them recognize patterns and build deeper understanding. Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities that help students improve their reasoning skills.
As students progress, they begin to approach mathematical challenges with greater confidence. Regular practice helps them improve speed, accuracy, and logical thinking. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas. With steady guidance and structured lessons, mathematics becomes a subject that students can approach with clarity and confidence.
