About Sophia
Hey! My name is Sophia and I'm a country girl from northern NSW. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Secondary Education at the University of Sydney, and am actively tutoring students from across the country in Years 7-10 math, HSC Business Studies and HSC Community and Family Studies. I hope to help you become a well-rounded, confident student and learner, and inspire you to do your best both in and outside of the classroom

For many middle and senior school students, maths is often too complex a subject, with teachers moving too fast or not having multi-faceted ways of communicating concepts and topics. With 1 hour classes, I seek to understand your child holistically, and provide tailored education to their ability, learning style and recognised potential.
I get to know your child beyond their maths ability, and ensure individualised lesson plans suited to their needs. Working with many students from both higher and lower socio-economic environments, I understand the pressures student's face and support them to achieve and discover personal academic success
