About Elizabeth
I want to tutor maths as I believe everyone should feel confident using maths for day to day life. Achieving a maths GCSE is crucial for opening doors in a young person’s career so it is something I believe everyone should accomplish. Teaching is such a rewarding profession and I want to help individuals reach their goals.

As a teacher of mathematics I have a wealth of resources for exam preparation, including past papers and tasks for completion beyond designated tutoring time. This will help to maximise tutoring time potential. I assess pupils' abilities to begin with to determine mathematical topics that need to be focused upon. I have several years' experience teaching maths to those unlikely to pass their GCSE/IGCSE without extra support. I focus on areas which are most likely to appear on exam papers and where pupils can realistically achieve marks with my support. I am available to tutor maths at primary and secondary school level.
