About Raaga Priya

Hi, I'm a 3rd year Computer Engineering student based in Bengaluru, I have been tutoring Math for CBSE and ICSE students from Class 6 to 12, and what keeps me going is that moment when something finally clicks for a student who was convinced they "just weren't a math person." That shift from confusion to confidence is what every session is built around.

Being a student myself is something I consider a real advantage. I cleared the same exams and learned the same concepts that my students are aiming to understand and I remember exactly which chapters feel overwhelming and why, and I explain things the way I wish someone had explained them to me clearly, patiently, and without making anyone feel behind.

I take punctuality, preparation, and progress seriously. Every session is planned in advance, every student's growth is tracked and every parent is kept informed. You will never finish a session wondering whether it was worth your time.

About the lesson

As an engineering student, I teach understanding, not memorization. Every concept starts with a "why" before problem solving because students who know the reasoning can handle any exam question.

Methodology:
For Math, my approach is concept → worked example → student solving session, the third step is where real learning happens. No copying from textbooks. For younger students (Class 6–8), I use visuals and real-world analogies before introducing concepts.

Structure of a class:
5–10 minutes - Recall the previous session to catch anything that didn't stick.
30–35 minutes - Introduce new concepts, work out examples together and student solves problems while I observe their thinking.
10–15 minutes - Independent practice that tells me exactly what's been absorbed.
Every student leaves knowing what we covered and what's coming next.
The parents are kept updated on their ward's progress every week.

Who the classes are intended for:
School students from Class 6 to 12, across both CBSE and ICSE boards with a strong focus on practical reasoning, exam strategy and maximizing marks along with a deep understanding of every concept.
