About David
I’ve worked in education for over twenty years and have a passion for helping students learn and succeed. I have helped students of all levels in maths to achieve their goals. There is nothing I like better than seeing students achieve lightbulb moments where previously impenetrable maths suddenly starts to make sense. I know that for many, maths seems hard, bewildering or boring even! However, I know that with the right help, ANYBODY can make progress in maths. I also tutor Mandarin Chinese for those keen!

As an experienced maths tutor and teacher, I understand many of the common misconceptions and problems students face when it comes to maths. I take the approach of really getting to know each student, understanding what gaps there are in their knowledge and working with them in a friendly, motivating way to get them to reach their goals. I’ve worked with students of all ages and abilities, particularly secondary school, and have helped many students bump up their grades.
