Techniques should be very clear- keep asking about the doubts of the students. Give them an atmosphere where they feel comfortable about learnings and place their questions.
Start with the basics of the problems and approach them so that students understand in a better way.
I used to teach approximately for two years with different Civil Engineering Subjects. I was an Assistant Professor in a reputed institute of engineering.
I also gave tuition for class 9 and 10 level students for Mathematics as well.
