About Freya
I am a 2nd year mathematics student at Edinburgh University, with high grades in my mathematics modules so far. I have previously been a private tutor for students who studied Further Maths GCSE, and I also acted as a Maths GCSE teaching assistant for a year 11 class. At my Sixth Form I was the head of Student Learning for the college and attached secondary school. Alongside maths, I also have a passion for Law and German, having taken Law at A-Level and German during University.

I base my tutoring around each student’s needs - however for the most part it will involve identifying topics they struggle with, covering then in depth to ensure full knowledge of the topics, and then testing and marking using mock exams to ensure they understand the topics. I can tailor this to each student and I can also cover exam technique, as a large part of succeeding is being confident in exams.
