About Ronan
Hi I’m Ronan. I’m 28.
I have a first class BSc in physics, and studied physics and chemistry at two of the top universities in the UK (Imperial + Manchester), am a professional software engineer.
I’ve extensive teaching background. I’ve taught privately and in schools for 10 years, covering physics, chemistry and maths IB/11+/GCSE/Alevel, and always to amazing success. I’ve taught over
I love working with a range of students. I’ve helped students get top grades, and supported students struggling to pass their GCSEs. I’ve worked with a range of SEN students, including ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, and autism.
I’m also training as a psychotherapist at the British Psychotherapy Foundation.

I love teaching. It’s getting to know my pupils, and working out what needs to be done
to help them make progress.
My lessons are curriculum focused, as ultimately exam results are going to be what most determines their futures. But for exam success, my teaching needs to engage, and so I do my best to always relate material to areas they are interested in, and take joy in getting better.
I love elegant explanations, but predominantly my lessons are about solving problems. I’ll figure exactly what problems should be worked on, they’ll solve them, and feel great as they see the progress. It’s a virtuous loop
