I'm a maths nerd studying a Masters of Science (Mathematics and Statistics) looking to tutor to support myself through my studies. I finished my undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Science & Bachelor of Computer Science) from Monash University, and was fortunate enough to graduate with a high distinction average.

Hi! I'm Josh, I've been tutoring for about 7 years now, with levels ranging from primary school to Year 12 Specialist Mathematics.
When I tutor, I like to make sure I am doing what is best for the person I am tutoring. This means going at their own pace, and having the patience to get them to where they want to be, as well as having the patience to let them have a good go at a question before jumping in to help. I also believe a good tutor-student relationship is important, and it is important that tutoring sessions aren't seen as a chore. To achieve this, I make sure to maintain a chill, friendly vibe during our sessions.
I'm also fairly flexible! Rescheduling and cancellations aren't a huge deal, especially for online tutoring. I'm also a bit of a night owl, and so if you need to squeeze in a session a bit later than usual I can make that work.

I've just finished my double degree at Monash University, studying a Bachelor of Science (Pure Mathematics Major) and a Bachelor of Computer Science (Data Science Specialisation). I was fortunate enough to graduate with a high distinction.
I am now beginning a Master of Mathematics at the University of Melbourne.
I completed VCE in 2019, with the following scores:
