About Gaurav
I have 17 years of experience as a civil engineer (yes, lots of calculations and real-life problem-solving!), I realized that what I love even more is helping children understand Math without stress or fear. Hi! I’m someone who truly enjoys teaching Maths in a way that actually makes sense to students. After working for over 17 years as an engineer (yes, lots of calculations and real-life problem-solving!), I realized that what I love even more is helping children understand Maths without stress or fear.
That’s why I started Maths Mentor — a small, personal online class where students from Grade 4 to Grade 10 can learn Maths with clarity and confidence.
What’s different about my classes?
• I focus on concept clarity, not just memorizing formulas.
• I use everyday examples to explain topics — pizzas for fractions, cricket scores for averages, buildings for geometry!
• I teach in small groups so every child gets attention and support.
• Students can ask doubts freely — I keep the sessions friendly and open.
Whether your child is just starting out, needs a confidence boost, or wants to strengthen their basics, I’m here to help make Maths simpler and more enjoyable.
