I’m Tanay, a Master’s student in Artificial Intelligence at King’s College London and an Engineering graduate with Distinction. I’ve always been passionate about Mathematics and explaining concepts clearly to friends and classmates. Hi, I’m Tanay, a Master’s student in Artificial Intelligence at King’s College London and an Engineering graduate with Distinction from VIT Vellore, India. Having consistently achieved A grades in Mathematics, I’ve always enjoyed breaking complex ideas into simple, relatable concepts. My teaching style focuses on building intuition first — helping students truly understand why something works before moving to problem-solving. I combine step-by-step explanations with plenty of examples, visual aids, and short practice tasks to make Maths feel logical and rewarding. I also adapt my methods to each student’s pace and learning style, ensuring every session is engaging and confidence-building. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, during which we review previous topics, introduce new concepts, and end with targeted practice and feedback. My lessons are designed for students aged 13–16 (Years 8–11) preparing for Key Stage 3 or GCSE Mathematics — whether they’re aiming to strengthen fundamentals or reach top grades. I believe learning Maths is about confidence and curiosity — and my goal is to help students develop both.
