About Danyal
I self-studied for my GCSE and A-level exams, attaining 3 A* in my GCSEs aged 9 and 2 As in my A-levels by the age of 11.
After 5 years working as a backend developer for a payroll software company, I retook my Maths A-level and sat an extra 2 A-levels in French and Further Maths (results will be out in August!).
I have experience tutoring kids of all ages, and love it when my students grasp a concept they did not previously understand!
Outside of academics, I enjoy baking with sourdough, playing football and training in martial arts.

"There are three kinds of people in this world: those who are good at maths, and those who aren't". Joking aside, I believe everyone, with the right guidance, can learn to enjoy Maths and greatly improve their results. I make abstract maths concepts feel accessible by providing relevant context and practical applications.
As I self-studied for my exams, I developed the skills required to become an independent learner. I aim to cultivate the same skill set and mindset in my students, which will be an invaluable tool outside of our classes.
