About Leon

In Year 9, seeking a better education, I moved to a top UK independent school. As I was in the top sets for most subjects at Winchester College, I was shocked by the difference in teaching quality between state and public schools.

During my four and a half years at this school, I have learned fantastic teaching methods from top academics and Oxbridge graduates, and have not touched a textbook during my GCSE and A Level courses. This allowed me to get accepted to one of the most competitive university courses in the UK.

I want to pass that on to other keen pupils, who will hopefully also attend a prestigious course in the future. I will guarantee that I tailor each lesson to tend to the pupil's weaknesses and dedicate as many hours as possible to prepare for lessons so that the pupil is successful.

About the lesson

I use a problem based approach in Teaching.

After introducing pupils to subjects, they will complete problems of increasing difficulty with my help. Depending on the topic, within a few lessons they can usually solve even the most difficult A Level questions on that Topic

Typical lesson length is 60 minutes. The marginal utility past that point tends to be very low.

During my time at Winchester College, I have prepared many pupils for public and non-public exams. I was also appointed the head of the Computer Science Society.

My lessons are for any pupils from Year 9 to Year 13 preparing for GCSEs, A Levels, and Admission Tests, specifically the TMUA, MAT, STEP 2
