About Arnav

Hi! I’m a friendly and patient maths tutor who aims to make learning easier and more enjoyable. I can help GCSE students improve their understanding of key topics, practise exam style questions and build confidence in their mathematical abilities. I’ll explain difficult concepts clearly, work at your pace and help you identify areas for improvement. My goal is to help you feel more confident in maths and achieve your best possible results.

About the lesson

Firstly we shall establish any frequent and current problems regarding the subject. A first lesson to get to know what struggles are experienced and any worries about their learning. In regard to their goals and resolution for the end of this time period I’ll create a structured timeline of lessons and topics to cover. As a teacher, I won’t just provide my student solutions to problems, but feed them structured hints in order to tackle difficult questions in order to build a problem-solving mind. I’m able to teach for an hour on either Wednesday or Thursday and also 2 hours on weekends. Both weekends if necessary depending on the needs of the student.
