About Ally
I am a final-year Optometry student, and my interest in teaching comes from my own experience as a student. I used to struggle with Math and once received a D, but one of my teachers took the time to explain things in a way that made Math much easier for me. With his guidance, I eventually improved from a D to an A. His patience and dedication inspired me to become a teacher who helps students find the right way to understand difficult subjects. As an Optometry student, I also have a strong background in Science, and I hope to make both Math and Science easier, more enjoyable, and less intimidating for my students.

Every child learns differently, and I believe the right teaching approach can make a big difference. My lessons focus on understanding rather than simply memorising answers. I will identify areas where your child needs more support and use different methods, explanations, and practice activities to help them understand concepts, build confidence, and improve their performance in Maths and Science
