About Jonny
Coming from a family of teachers, it has always been in my nature to help those around me in understanding concepts and developing their academic skill-set. In my years at school, teaching other people was also a way of improving and cementing my own knowledge. In fact, teaching others was often the best way to teach myself. Articulating a concept to someone forces you to understand it yourself and questions knowledge that you so often apply without fully grasping, exposing gaps in your understanding you didn't even know you have. When tutoring, I strive to break down maths and physics into its fundamentals and build a student's understanding from the ground up. It is vital to me that no gaps are left, as these are subjects which require a solid basis for all new concepts to be built into.
