About Karanvir

Hi, I'm Karanvir. I'm currently in my gap year having achieved all A*s in my GCSEs and A*A*A*A in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry A-Level. I will be studying Computer Science at the University of Warwick next year.

During my time in school, I realised that the emphasis was often on memorising answers rather than truly understanding concepts. I want to shift away from that method, focusing instead on how to think and adapting lessons to your specific needs to help you become a more effective thinker. Problem-solving is a skill that can be developed with practice, and I’m confident that, with my guidance, you’ll gain the ability to approach and solve problems you've never seen before.

I am a dedicated volunteer at a local educational charity, helping students from all walks of life make significant progress in their learning journey, and I know that I can do the same for you. Through my teaching and your commitment, we’ll work together to help you achieve the Grade 9 or A* you’re aiming for.

About the lesson

I offer personalised tutoring in Maths and Further Maths for GCSE and A-Level students. My approach prioritises logical thinking over memorisation in order to help students confidently identify and eliminate areas of misunderstanding to achieve A* grades.

With experience working in an educational charity and having achieved A*s in the subjects I teach, I understand how to make lessons engaging, effective, and rewarding for each student.
