About Marley
Hi, I'm Marley,
I'm a 22 year old Software Engineer and recent graduate with a passion for all things Maths, Physics or Tech related! I love sharing my knowledge with others, hence why I decided to become a tutor.
I graduated from the University of St Andrews with a first-class honours degree in Mathematics & Computer Science in May 2021. During school and university, I enjoyed taking part in various extra-curricula activities including hackathons and maths competitions and in my first year of university I founded and chaired a society, the Aviation Society, dedicated to all things that fly! After graduating I got a job as a software engineer at a tech company called Citrix, where I still currently work.
My teaching style is a mixture of demonstrations, guided learning, prepared lessons and exercises. I know that every student is different so I have a variety of prepared material to find a style that works best for you, and I can adapt my teaching and lessons accordingly. I also like to blend my passion and unique experiences with the course material for every lesson, since I believe variety and passion is key to sparking interest in any subject.
