My teaching approach for Mathematics is focused on making statistics and probability simple and practical. I begin with data collection and organization, including frequency distribution tables and graphical representation using bar graphs, histograms, pie charts, and line graphs. I teach measures of central tendency, including mean, median, and mode, with step-by-step methods and real-world examples like test scores and survey data. I cover measures of dispersion, including range and introduction to standard deviation. I also teach basic probability, including experiments, outcomes, sample space, and calculating probability of simple events using real-life examples like coin tosses, dice rolls, and card draws. I use interactive activities and visual aids to make learning engaging. I provide detailed notes, formula sheets, and practice worksheets. I assign homework that includes both data analysis and probability problems. I conduct weekly quizzes to assess understanding. I maintain a progress log and adjust my teaching pace based on individual needs. My goal is to build your confidence in handling data and understanding basic probability.
