About Oscar
I enjoy turning difficult topics into clear, step-by-step ideas that actually make sense, not just memorised methods. Having been through these exams myself, I understand where students tend to get stuck and how quickly confidence can drop when a concept isn’t explained well.
My focus is on building real understanding and exam confidence. I don’t just show you how to get the answer — I make sure you understand why it works, so you can tackle unfamiliar questions on your own.
I’m patient, structured, and adapt my teaching to how each student learns best.

My approach is focused on building genuine understanding rather than memorisation. As a student myself, I remember what it’s like to struggle with concepts that are often explained too quickly or too abstractly in class. I aim to break topics down into clear, logical steps and make them feel approachable, even when they initially seem difficult.
My goal is to build confidence as well as ability. I want students to feel that they can tackle unfamiliar questions independently and calmly, not just rely on being shown solutions.
