About Kenneth

Hi - I'm 23 years old, raised predominantly in the USA and Germany. I am studying mathematics in the UK online, and will hopefully be graduating in the Summer 2024.
Growing up included lots of technology, specifically smartphones at age 14 and laptops much before then. I spend time on social media, YouTube, and generally on the internet often. Hence, I am aware of "doom scrolling" (can't stop watching those vines/TikTok/ reels/shorts/pick your poison) and other modern challenges faced by Gen Z and Alpha. From personal experience, I know it's difficult sometimes to find the concentration, motivation, and the right teaching method for oneself. Everyone is different and hence everyone needs a learning experience tailored to their needs. Therefore, my goal is to make the time with you as effective and interesting as possible. I value your time just as much as I value my time. Let me know what your goals are, whether it be for passing an upcoming exam, general curiosity, or making the next Spiderman(/-woman) AI, I will try my best to make that goal more reachable.

About the lesson

Learning is different for everyone. I am flexible in personalizing my tutoring methods to fit students' needs. I offer one-on-one teaching in various forms and try to incorporate colors, forms, and activities to keep a hold of the learner's attention with the goal in mind to provide an environment to elevate the chances of being successful. Your success is my goal!

I try to incorporate elements in highlighting key concepts, color coding, clear plan organization, and consistent study plans to build a strong and comfortable foundation.

A rough rundown of a typical lesson plan is as follows:
1 - Introduction (The topic, perhaps a question for deeper thought depending on the student's need)
2 - Theorems & Definitions
3 - Worked through examples (Starting simple and gradually increasing in difficulty. )
4 - Practice problems
5 - Conclusion (recap the main points and perhaps a real-life application)
