About Marcus
I am a Maths with Economics student at UCL and I love helping people go from feeling stuck in maths to feeling confident. At school I tutored younger students and saw how much difference a clear explanation and a bit of encouragement can make. I am patient, friendly and easy to talk to, so you can ask any question without feeling judged. I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy seeing students improve and reach grades they did not think were possible.

I am a Maths with Economics student at UCL and I teach mainly GCSE and A level Maths and science students who want to boost confidence and exam marks. My lessons are usually one hour and start with a quick check of what you already know, then we build the key ideas step by step before finishing with past paper style questions. I explain topics in several ways until they click and I constantly ask you to talk through your thinking so you actually understand rather than just memorise a method. I set short, focused homework after each lesson and track progress so you and your parents can see clear improvement over time.
