About Adam
My name is Adam! I hold a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen's University, and I have over 5 years of tutoring experience as a TA at Queen's and through freelance tutoring.
I love to teach because I find that helping people learn something they don't understand is one of life's greatest satisfactions!
Before the teaching begins, I always try to get to know the student first (what their interests/hobbies are etc). The more I know them, the more I can emphasise with them and help them. For example, if a student is in a bad mood or has a bad attitude, I find that speaking to them on a personal (level talking about things other than school) can help engage them in the session and put them back in the zone to work hard.
I never want to make my lessons boring and dull so the student can stay interested. I can do this while keeping it professional and productive, and that is what makes me a great tutor!

I'm offering tutoring services for all levels and ages from beginner Maths to pre-university level Maths (GCSE, A Levels, IB, AP, etc).
I offer one on one, or group classes ranging from 2 to 4 students. Usually my classes are 1-2 hours long, but I am flexible to do longer hours if needed.
