About Brenna

I completed my Bachelor's in Mathematics Education at the University of Montana while substituting at a private school. I have experience working with at-risk youth and those far behind grade-level. My goal is to show students how learning can be immediately relevant to their daily lives and support them as they engage with and shape the world they are growing into.

About the lesson

I use a problem-solving based approach to guide students through homework and test prep materials, so that they build a deep understanding of the concepts and application. I primarily work with junior high and high schoolers looking for support outside the classroom.

Perfect! Brenna has been wonderful to work with. She is helping my daughter prepare for the 4th grade ISEE while also strengthening and catching up on key 3rd grade math skills. She is patient, clear, encouraging, and very good at making the material feel manageable instead of overwhelming. My daughter feels comfortable with her and is already gaining confidence. I’d highly recommend Brenna to any family looking for a thoughtful, effective tutor.
