About Aritra

Hello! I'm Aritra Sen Gupta, a passionate mathematics tutor and engineering aspirant with a strong academic background. I scored 96.8% in Class 10 with a perfect 100/100 in Mathematics and 93% in Class 12 (PCM). I also secured 98 percentile in JEE Main and have participated in several Mathematics Olympiads, earning certificates and a gold medal for my performance.

Apart from academics, I have represented my school in athletics at the CBSE Cluster level and have actively participated in football and basketball competitions. These experiences have helped me develop discipline, perseverance, and effective problem-solving skills.

As a tutor, I focus on making mathematics intuitive and enjoyable rather than something to be memorized. Since I have recently gone through the same academic journey as my students, I understand the challenges they face and can guide them with practical strategies, clear explanations, and personalized support. My goal is to help students build confidence, strengthen their fundamentals, and achieve their academic goals.

About the lesson

My mathematics classes are designed to build strong concepts, logical thinking, and confidence in problem-solving. Rather than focusing on rote memorization, I help students understand the reasoning behind every concept so that they can tackle unfamiliar questions independently.

A typical class begins with concept explanation, followed by worked examples, guided practice, and doubt-solving. I adapt my teaching style according to the student's level and learning pace. Having recently prepared for competitive examinations such as JEE, I understand the common difficulties students face and can provide practical strategies to overcome them.

My classes are suitable for students from Classes 6–12, including CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, Cambridge, IB as well as students preparing for competitive exams. My goal is not only to improve marks but also to help students develop a genuine interest in mathematics.
