About Ophelia
I have been fascinated by mathematics from a young age, intrigued by its patterns, structures, and problem-solving challenges. This passion led me to pursue a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, equipping me with both theoretical knowledge and practical analytical skills. Over 11 years, I have guided students of varying levels, helping them develop clarity, confidence, and strong analytical capabilities in mathematics.
My teaching methodology is student-centred, interactive, and practical. I use visual aids, real-world applications, and problem-solving exercises to ensure students grasp core concepts deeply. I encourage curiosity, independent thinking, and systematic reasoning, providing support tailored to each student’s learning style.
Beyond teaching, I engage with mathematical research, computational methods, and applied problem-solving scenarios. Intermediate learners tackle calculus principles, multi-step problem-solving, combinatorial reasoning, and statistical analysis. Advanced learners explore abstract algebra, advanced calculus, theoretical modelling, and complex problem-solving. Every lesson incorporates guided practice, analytical discussions, and applied exercises to reinforce comprehension and mastery.
