About Tess
I am a mathematics tutor with 9 years of experience and a Master’s in Industrial Mathematics. My interest in mathematics began with a strong curiosity about numbers and patterns. Over the years, I have worked with students from different levels, helping them improve their understanding and confidence. My goal is to make mathematics simple, clear, and enjoyable for every learner.
My teaching style is structured, patient, and supportive. I focus on breaking down complex ideas into simple steps so students can understand easily. I use practical examples and guided practice to support learning. I also adapt my lessons based on each student’s needs and pace, ensuring steady improvement. Helping learners build confidence and strong problem-solving skills is always my priority.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring mathematical concepts and solving problems to keep my knowledge fresh. This helps me bring better explanations into my lessons. I feel proud when students gain confidence and begin to solve problems independently. Supporting their growth and helping them develop a positive attitude towards mathematics is something I truly value, and I remain dedicated to guiding them with patience and clarity.
