About Jasmine
I was an A* Maths student at GCSE from year 9 and have previously assisted other GCSE students who have completed their studies to an A/A* standard.
I studied Maths, Spanish, Biology and Chemistry at A Level.
I have been studying Spanish for 8 years both in schools and independently, and have improved massively in my communication and grammar skills.

I am very open to using a variety of teaching methods to assist students in whichever manner works best for them.
However through my own experience, I believe the best way to teach is by explaining concepts in detail until my tutee grasps the ideas and can independently understand what needs to be done. The second step of my teaching is working through an example of the question type with the tutee to demonstrate how to apply their knowledge to a question. And finally, the tutee will get the opportunity to work through a few questions by themself to prove that they can apply their knowledge. If at this stage the tutee is still struggling with the application of their knowledge then we will go back and work through another question together in more depth until they feel confident that they completely understand and are able to complete the tasks by themself. We will then try another set of questions until they are successfully completing tasks unsupported.
